Patrolled Beaches Noosa

The Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club (An iconic Australian volunteer organisation) patrols Noosa Main Beach, parallel to Hastings Street and Noosa West near the middle groyne, every weekend from September through to May, from 6.45am to 5pm. They have a patrol station on the Noosa beachfront for first aid and beach report information. During the winter months, June to August the Sunshine Coast Regional Council Lifeguards patrol the beach 7 days a week from 7:30am till 4:30pm. Noosa Main Beach is a great spot to view surfers ripping the barrels on Noosa National Park and the Noosa Groyne, swimmers, body boarders, stand up paddlers and the families playing in the shore breaks alike. There are plenty of long sandy beaches for the kids to build sandcastle cities, enjoy beach games and troll the rock pools for ocean treasures. Make sure you book your next holiday accommodation close to the beachfront for easy access for the whole family.
